In the Garden of Eden,  Adam and Eve were living in a perfect environment and relationship with God.

They were given rulership of the Earth.

But the crafty snake wanted this authority over earth and wanted to enslave Adam and Eve.

He found a way though deceit.

Adam and Eve trusted in his Word more than God’s.

God has said they will die if the eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil but the devil said

“For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” Gen 3:5

With bite of the fruit mankind lost his relationship with God. Adam sinned. Adam was separated from God.

And the wages of sin is death!

Mankind also lost the rulership given to him by his Creator to the devil, Mankind also became slave of the enemy. Resident of his dark kingdom.

The enemy fluanted this rulership when tempting  Jesus.
” The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world.
And he said to him, “I will give you all their authority and splendor, for it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to.” Luk 4:5-6

It was not given to him but was deceitfully taken by him from Adam.

So man is in deep trouble, away from God and under the influence of the devil; the theif  who comes to kill and destroy.

Man has to live on earth that is cursed by God, ruled by evil.

Praise to God who is gracious and loving. He is so compassionate.

He did not leave us in such a state but became our kinsman redeemer.

God has instructed Israelites that if anyone loses his land or to become enslaved  the closest relative, who is called kinsman redeemer, redeem it.

Kinsman redeemer by definition is male relative who had privilege or authority to act on behalf of a relative who was in danger, trouble or need.

who could buy back a family member sold into slavery and  re-acquire land that had been sold.

So God came to earth as a man!

He lived a perfect life, so he can die the death for Adam, and through his blood, our sins got atoned.

John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Jesus also takes back the title deed of the earth as we can see in Revelation

Revelation 5:5
“Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”

The title deed that was sealed in Genesis, the transaction that occurred through deceit of the snake and unfaithfulness of Adam. This sealed Satan’s authority of the earth and enslaved Adam’s children souls.

This scroll, with its 7 seals, is opened in Revelation by the King of kings and Lord of lords.

Title deeds are opened by people who are close relatives, who redeem what is lost.

Jesus, our kinsman redeemer, fought the cosmic battle for us and triumphed.

Revelation 5:9 :And they sang a new song:
“You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals,
because you were slain, and with your blood, you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.
10: You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.”

When a child of adam says: I have sinned” and “I believed Jesus christ died for my sin,” and submit to the Lordship of Jesus (acknowledging Jesus as his kinsman redeemer)

God gives that soul the right to become his child and puts the seal of the Holy Spirit on the person.

This shows the rulers and principalities  in the heavly places that person now belongs to God.

Purchased from slavery, this person becomes new creation and transfered from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of Light!

Colossians 1:13:” For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves,”
