I was watching an interview with two preachers. The discussion was about rupture.
One of them said that he would literally go insane if he had to go through tribulations, and the other one chimed, “I will die”
Everyone has different understanding of when the rupture is, whether before or after the tribulations.
Lots of people are of the opinion that the church will be taken away, then tribulations will take place.
What if it is not the case? What if the church will suffer for Christ?
Did not the first century believers went through death, being burned alive, thrown to starved animals, confiscation of their livelihood?
God’s word says everyone who wants to live godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. 2Tim 3:12
Whatever your position on the timing of the rupture, we do understand that we are living in the last days.
-The UN is transforming from collaborative body to governing body.
-All countries will (or may already have) surrender their sovereignty.
-The Catholic Pope is gathering leaders from all religious sects. Has publicly said, “All religions lead to God.”
-Digital money launch is just awaiting another catastrophic event.
The pandemic we had few years ago, has given the powers to be, good experience on how to handle and fine tune the controls.
Jesus said in
Luke 21:29: “And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
30: When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
31: So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
32: Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.”
1 Chronicles 12:32 tells us “And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.”
We should pray for wisdom to discern our time.
This is the time we should be getting ready for the kingdom that has no ending.
We are pligrims here in earth. Our home is with Jesus.
Let us not get entangled in the world
, let us renew our mind with the Word.
Even if we go through tribulations
Remember what God told us in Isaiah 43:1: “But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not:
for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name;
thou art mine.
2: When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee;
and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee:
when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned;
neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”
Jesus comforted his descipes with these words
” These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
Again his Word tells us
“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Roman 8:37:39.
Shalom.
